Less refined sweeteners made from
grains and fruit provide satisfying sweet sensations
without all of the negative effects of highly processed
white (and brown) sugar. They even have trace amounts
of nutritional benefits (B-vitamins, minerals and calcium).
- Rice syrup -- thick
and mild, trace minerals and has a pH level of 6.3
which is very close to that of our own blood.

- Barley Malt -- made
from germinated barley, has B-vitamins, minerals and
calcium. Free from additives and preservatives.
- Maple Syrup -- everyone
loves the taste. Maple syrup works well in baking;
a soothing, satisfying sweetness without chemicals
and excessive processing.
- Fruit Sweeteners --
made from organic fruits. Just the sweetness with
minor nutritional benefits.
- Amazake -- thick, creamy,
ambrosia-like liquid made from sweet rice. Has all
the nutritive elements of rice.
- Agave Nectar -- Agave Nectar is organic, vegan and kosher. It has a low glycemic index which makes it a healthy choice for all, and good for those with diabetic concerns. It is slightly sweeter than processed sugar and has a long shelf life. It is not as thick as honey and keeps baked goods moist.
